Action against school dropout

On May 16, 2026, the Anaouat Foundation carried out a series of awareness-raising and family mediation activities in the remote mountainous areas of the Chichaoua region, benefiting the school groups of Taoungast and Azroumeln as well as the community of Endounit. This initiative is part of the Foundation's ongoing efforts to combat school dropout and promote educational continuity for children in rural areas.

Implemented as part of the educational monitoring program, developed in strategic partnership with the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, this action opened a direct dialogue with families and students through family mediation meetings. These exchanges served as a reminder of the importance of continuing schooling and strengthened collective commitment to educational success.

Interactive awareness workshops were also organized within the schools concerned, providing students with spaces for discussion and reflection on their educational journey. Through an active listening approach, the Foundation's teams gathered concerns and identified the constraints faced by families, in order to develop appropriate responses that guarantee the right to education and pave the way toward a more promising future for every child.
