Listening centers
Through listening centers, safe and confidential spaces are available so that women who are victims of violence can be listened to, supported and referred to appropriate services.
In 2024, in order to strengthen the fight against violence against women and address the needs of the most vulnerable populations, Anaouat set up four listening centers in the municipalities most affected by the earthquake in the Marrakech region. Carried out in partnership with Deloitte and USAID, this project aims to bring support services closer to women living in rural areas, where access to assistance often remains limited.
These centers serve as local access points for identifying situations of violence, providing an appropriate response, and referring beneficiaries to the relevant services, particularly through institutional protection mechanisms. The foundation's work is part of the regional mechanism for supporting women and children who are victims of violence, accessible through Al Himaya, a platform dedicated to strengthening judicial protection and coordination among the various stakeholders involved.
As a member of the Regional Committee for the Support of Women Victims of Violence, the Anaouat Foundation actively contributes to coordination between judicial authorities, public services, and civil society organizations, in accordance with the provisions of Law 103.13 on combating violence against women.
